Where are you located?
We are located in West Oahu. The city of Kapolei to be exact.
How much does a session cost?

What is a typical portrait session?
We strive to keep our sessions relaxed, fun, and tailored to your family's personality or style. We feel that you look your best when you are truly enjoying yourself and not intimidated being in front of the camera. We'll try not to pose you heavily. Instead, we'll provide simple directions to help bring out that natural smile and natural body positioning.
Can I pick the location of the shoot?
You sure can! We generally stay within West & Central Oahu, but we can work outside this area for a small fee. If you are unsure where to have your photo taken we can give you some suggestions on places where we've shot before.
What if my child is uncooperative during the shoot?
We will usually email you a few tips ahead of time on planning your shoot. This will usually make the shoot go smoother. Unfortunately, sometimes it happens that even with the best planning, children just aren't up to it. In this situation we will allow for extra time to get your child in a better mood. Maybe a snack or a little bit of playtime can sometimes change the mood.
When do I pay? How long will it take to receive my images?
Please have your payment ready on the day of shoot. We accept cash or check only. Your invoice will be e-mailed to you once we finalize the date and time. You will receive an invoice receipt from us after your session is completed.
We will begin working on your images right after your shoot. We will provide you a personalized private gallery for you to view your proofs, which under most circumstances should be available to you within 7-10 days from the day of the shoot. From there you will select the photos for final delivery. The number of photos for final delivery depends on how many digital files we've agreed on on the contract. Your files will be delivered to you as a digital download through your personal gallery. Instructions will be provided when you receive your notification email.
Do we have printing rights to our photos?
Yes, of course. You can purchase prints through your private gallery, or if you choose to print to a photo lab of your choice. After your photos are delivered, we will provide you with a copy of the print release form, in case your lab requires them.
What's in our camera bag?
We both have Nikon gear. Stephen has been shooting with Nikon since 2007. For Sara, her journey was a little different. Her very first DSLR camera was a Canon Rebel. However since meeting Stephen, she has converted to Nikon and hasn't looked back. We also own Fuji X-trans mirrorless cameras and lenses. This is our travel and family camera. They are great little machines that produce images similar to our Nikons but in a smaller package. This is great when we have the two kids in tow, as it is compact enough and fits nicely inside the diaper bag.
Are you a licensed business in the state? Do you have business insurance?
Yes and yes. We are a licensed business in Hawaii. We also have business insurance as certain venues do require it.
